Featured cake of the season - “Fraisier"

“Fraisier” comes from the French word “fraise” which means “ strawberry". A fraisier is a classic French strawberry layered génoise cake. Two layers of génoise or sponge cake are brushed with a kirsch syrup (or strawberry coulis, for a nonalcoholic version). The génoises are separated by lightened buttercream and fresh organic strawberries. “Fraisier “ is as elegant as it is tasty, bursting with delicate flavors and a silky finish.
